Buildings, units and beds are laid out in a structure editor. Each bed is individually addressable and can be moved, archived or taken out for maintenance.

Open a contract period
An academic year or intake is a contract period. Beds are allocated to it and given a purpose, which makes availability, occupancy and revenue comparable year on year.

Publish and get found
Amenities, room types with pricing, accreditations, photos and copy are captured once and published to BestRes and your landing page.
04 · Students
Take the application
Students apply through a form you configure step by step. From personal details to ID uploads. Each application is saved to a student profile instead of arriving as an email.
05 · Contracts
Confirm who is paying
Every contract carries a funding source (NSFAS, bursary or private) with its own status and proof of funding. A contract can't be approved or sent for signature until its funding is approved.
06 · Contracts
Approve, sign, activate
The lease is generated from your own branded template and sent for legally binding e-signature. Signature status updates in the record automatically.
07 · Properties & Contracts
Occupy, move, terminate
An active contract secures a specific bed. Staff members can move, cancel, and process early terminations based on their granted permissions.
08 · Finance
Reconcile the money
University payments and their remittance schedules are imported and automatically allocated to the right contract. That feeds arrears, the rent roll and student statements.
